Jesus Is Lord

Oyama Siyabulela Canca was born on June 23, 1992, in Mthatha to Don Oyama Canca and Keely Mtshizana-Canca. He was raised in East London, where his love for music developed through his family’s collection of records, cassettes, and CDs. During his teenage years, he began exploring music production using digital audio software, which shaped his journey into sound engineering and recorded media.

He holds a Diploma in Music Recording Technology from the Academy of Sound Engineering and continues to grow his expertise in Music Production through Berklee Online. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of South Africa and a Degree in Divinity at Faith Global Institute.

Oyama is the Founder and Trustee of The King’s Trust, which oversees all his ministry and media initiatives. Under The King’s Trust, he founded Meek Storm, where he serves as a producer, recording artist, performing artist, and sound engineer. The Trust also oversees The King’s Ministries, a ministry devoted to proclaiming the risen Lord Jesus Christ and equipping believers to live out their faith and fulfill their God-given purpose.

Rooted in his faith and guided by the Holy Spirit, Oyama’s life is centered on ministry, music, and principled leadership. He remains committed to building Kingdom-focused initiatives, serving with humility, and using his gifts to impact lives for the glory of God.
